OUR POWER IS OUR MEMBERSHIP
Since 2009 schools in England and Wales using cooperative education models have benefitted from the work of Coop Schools (previously in the guise of the Schools Cooperative and CSNET). Coop Schools provides services and support for the network of cooperative schools, strengthening school improvement and local accountability.
About Coop Schools
Owned and directed by its members, Coop Schools is the national membership organisation for all schools in Cooperative Foundation Trusts or Cooperative Academy Trusts.

We are a not for profit organisation, registered as a Cooperative Society, overseen by a National Advisory Board that is elected from our membership.

Established in 2009 as the Schools Cooperative Society, Coop Schools supports and strengthens the work of its member schools, and represents their voices.

We have four Coop Schools Regions: Northern, Central, Western, and the South East. The four regions have their own cooperative meetings where all members are welcome. These meetings focus on regional and national priorities, shared improvement priorities, and are geared towards action to improve schools. From each region, two members join our National Advisory Board, which agrees policy and strategic direction for the network as a whole.
All schools that are cooperative are encouraged to become members of Coop Schools for a small annual subscription. This subscription is used for our work with our schools, in supporting and strengthening them, and representing their voices.
