Meet the Team

Lee trained at Goldsmiths College as a secondary English teacher, working in London and East Anglia. After school leadership, he began work as a school improvement specialist in British and American schools. Led by values and principles, Lee joined Coop Schools as National Director in December 2020. He is committed to building the voice of cooperation across the education sector, and securing inclusion, equity and success across all member schools.

After starting work in the community and voluntary sector, Jonathan trained as a primary teacher in 1993.  Teaching and headship roles in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire were followed by work as the Primary Lead for Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust in Hull where he is currently the CEO.

Andy has a MSc in Strategic Human Resource Management from Nottingam Trent University and in addition to his Coop School’s activities, works as a business and management development consultant.  Andy leads the Coop Schools Central Regional Meeting, and sits on our National Advisory Board.  He also leads on financial regulation for Coop Schools.  He is a firm advocate for inclusion and cooperation in the education sector.

Alan has been involved in national and international educational leadership and governance for over 45 years.  His passion for inclusive and collaborative education has led to him chairing Cooperative Foundation Trusts in Kent and acting as the ambassador for the South East Region.
